Leadership Transition at the South West Community Foundation
The Board of the South West Community Foundation (SWCF) announces that Executive Officer, Annabel Cussen, will be stepping down from her role.
During her tenure, Annabel has led the Foundation through a period of renewal and growth; strengthening partnerships, expanding community funds, and positioning SWCF as a leader in regional philanthropy. Her work has laid the foundations for the next chapter of the Foundation’s development, centred on the Community Charity Trust and a regional affiliate fund model to support community-led giving across South West Victoria. Her leadership has been anchored always in the belief that communities hold the solutions to their own opportunities and challenges.
The Board expresses its sincere thanks to Annabel for her dedication, professionalism, and passion for community, and wishes her every success in her next chapter.
The Foundation will now commence recruitment for a new Executive Officer to continue this important work.
