At the South West Community Foundation (SWCF), we understand that every donor, organisation and community initiative has different goals. We offer a range of flexible partnership options designed to help you create meaningful impact in the way that works best for you.
Place-Based Funds
Supporting the communities you care about
Place-Based Funds support a particular geographic community and provide an opportunity to invest in the future of a specific town, region or place. These funds may operate under either the Public Fund or Open Fund.
Purpose-Based Funds
Supporting the causes that matter most
Purpose-Based Funds are established to support a particular charitable purpose, cause or area of need. These funds operate under the Community Charity Fund and allow donors to create lasting impact around issues they are passionate about.
Hosted Funds
Supporting organisations to focus on their purpose
Hosted Funds provide an opportunity for existing organisations or initiatives to have their funds held and invested by SWCF while retaining their established purpose, identity and connection to their community.
Flow-Through Funds
Connecting generosity with specific outcomes
Flow-Through Funds enable funding received from external entities for a specific charitable purpose or project to be managed through SWCF. Funds are distributed to nominated recipients or beneficiaries in accordance with agreed arrangements. Examples include support from foundations such as the Vedmore Foundation and FJFF.
Auspice Funds
Creating opportunities for community-led initiatives
Auspice Funds provide a pathway for organisations or initiatives that may not have their own charitable or deductible gift recipient status. Through the Community Charity Fund, SWCF provides the governance and charitable framework needed, while the organisation remains responsible for delivering the agreed activities and outcomes.
