2012 Grant Recipients

South West Community Foundation grants for 2012 totaled $38,580

Recipients were:

• Colac Foodbank  – $5000, establishment costs
• Red Rock Theatre and Gallery Inc. – $3000, theatre equipment
• Leadership South West   – $4000, two scholarships
• Riding Develops Ability (Colac) – $2360, equipment for disabled riders
• Hamilton Institute of Rural Learning  – $2100, sustainable garden for schools
• Western District Health Care – $2000, training for volunteer managers
• Colac Otway Police Youth Liaison Team – $1500, computer equipment
• Progressing Cobden Inc.  – $1000, access signage for Cobden Lake Multi-use Trail
• SES Warrnambool Roadsafe project  – $1000,  Flouro vests
• Simpson Lions Club – $1000, chain saw and safety equipment
• Casterton Bowling Club Inc. – $550, coloured indoor bowls for special needs group
• South West Let’s Dance   – $500, dancing for the disabled
• Regional Wig Bank (St. John of God Hospital Auxiliary)  – $700, wigs for the ‘Look Good Feel Better’ program.
• Back to School vouchers – $12,500 (250 x $50 vouchers)
