Thousands of people flocked to the South-West Victorian hamlet of Koroit in April for the 2017 Koroit Irish Festival , and South West Community Foundation’s support helped ensure the event’s success.
The festival celebrated its 21st birthday this year with a program that included a wide selection of talented musicians, comedian Jimeoin, Irish games, food and drink and plenty of laughs.
South West Community Foundation ensured festival-goers stayed safe while having a whale of a time. The foundation provided a $5000 grant through the its Koroit sub fund to pay for fencing to clearly identify accessible and restricted areas at the festival.
